Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Founder of ACME Group is an innovator, technologist, and serial entrepreneur with several patents to his credit. He has more than two decades of experience in the telecom and energy sectors. Mr. Upadhyay is an inventor of many disruptive products and solutions in the telecom energy space, which have seen large-scale commercial success. They have contributed significantly to bring down the call rates by reducing the cost of energy infrastructure.
His dedication and innovation have benefited the nation by bringing down the solar electricity tariff to INR 2.44 per kWh, a historic low in India. Currently, ACME is the leading solar power developer and has built a solar portfolio of over 5 GWp. The Company currently operates over 1.5 GWp of capacity with another 10 GWp under different phases of construction.
Mr. Upadhyay is progressively establishing an organization to excel with a vision of “Building Next-Generation Utility” and a mission of “Providing Sustainable Green Energy at Affordable Rates.”
Currently, the company through its innovation culture is working on Renewable Electricity, Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Sustainable Food, and Water, among others. Mr. Upadhyay also supports emerging start-ups to scale up their business.
Rajat Seksaria, Chief Executive Officer of ACME Group, has made the organization the powerhouse of young and talented professionals. One of the youngest non-promoter Chief Executives in the country, dynamism is his forte. An IIM Calcutta alumnus, an electrical engineer from Gujarat University, he possesses rich experience of over 17 years. Rajat is steering the ACME Group into becoming futuristic, nimble footed and yet structured organization and enabled the organization to play a vital role in rapid energy transition, which will throw up unique opportunities and challenges. Under his leadership, ACME Group has successfully streamlined the organizational processes for the execution and timely delivery of projects and other strategic financial transactions. Rajat has played a key role in strategic deals for the company including the issuance of offshore green bonds, partnerships with global firms like SCATEC, UNOPS S3i, IFU & Brookfield Renewables and divestment of assets to Petronas and Actis. Rajat is also at the forefront of ACME’s move into setting up a pioneering global green hydrogen business. With earlier stints with Shell (earlier BG India Ltd), Punj Lloyd and India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL), he has also handled international project development in renewables and infrastructure in Africa, Asia and Europe.

Neeraj Gupta has over 15 years of experience in equity capital markets, debt capital markets, mergers and acquisition and project finance. He has been with ACME for over 5 years now. He has successfully raised approximately US$ 1.4 billion of equity from marquee investors, US$ 1.7 billion of debt through domestic fund raise and has led multiple M&A and equity raise transactions with marquee funds and institutions like Macquarie, Blackstone, APG, Brookfield, Piramal, Actis, Petronas, SCATEC, UNOPS, IFU. Prior to joining the Company, he worked at Hindustan Power and Tech Mahindra in corporate finance and strategy functions. He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Indian Institute of Management, Indore and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Sandeep Kashyap is a seasoned and highly accomplished executive with over two and a half decades of experience in Business Development, Policy Advocacy, Project Execution and Corporate Affairs. With a fast-track management career marked by demonstrated ability to build peak-performing teams to achieve a cross-functional business objective, Sandeep is leading the ACME Group to the next phase of growth in solar and green hydrogen and ammonia businesses. He played a crucial role in closing recent global partnerships sealed by the Company. Sandeep is an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Shivaji University.
Christoph is a chemical engineer by training and has been working in the Indian landscape for more than 20 years. For the last four years, he is the Member of Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum and responsible for the forum´s global initiatives with automotive, supply chain including shipping, aviation, travel tourism and aerospace companies. Committed to net zero transitions, his initiatives such as “Getting to Zero in Shipping” and “Clean Skies of Tomorrow” are focused on fuel transition to green hydrogen, and its derivatives such as green ammonia. In the past, he worked as a Senior Partner at McKinsey for 17 years.
Ashwani with 30 years of marketing and business development experience in the energy sector, has worked across Asia and Europe in various functional and leadership roles. In his last role, Ashwani was heading the global LNG marketing business for ADNOC. He has previously worked as Country Head for Shell Energy India and played an active role in the development of gas and power markets leveraging his rich global and domestic experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
Anil Chutani is responsible for promoting green hydrogen and green ammonia technology at ACME Group. He has over 26 years of professional experience in the technology domain in various sectors including telecom, renewables, energy storage, electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen storage, and electrolyzers, among others. He is an expert in engineering, product development, technical due diligence for M&As, and scaling up start-ups from R&D stage to commercial scale. He has Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications.
Siddhartha P Saikia is communication and branding professional equipped with over 16 years of experience in business journalism and public relations. He formulates the internal and external communication strategy of the ACME Group by integrating domestic and global business goals. Prior to ACME Group, Siddhartha worked for Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest carmaker. He has experience of over a decade in mainstream business journalism with some of India’s finest newspapers including the Hindustan Times, the Hindu Business Line, and the Financial Express. He is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and IIMC.
